JOB SUMMARY Xerox Business Services is seeking a Technical Project Manager for the PDSI organization, which will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of an enterprise software development project, including design, development and deployment. This individual is accountable for the on-time and on-budget delivery of a single project or group of projects ranging from $1 up to $10 million each in value on average. This position requires enterprise software design experience on complex projects with a demonstrated knowledge of building and managing projects for enterprise level high volume data amalgamation/query based and API development solutions, preferably for government entities and/or Justice related projects.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating one or more key projects on a periodic basis and report updates to PDSI on the status, risks and issues on the project. As well, this role will be responsible for ensuring key activities are completed such as architecture reviews and that we are following development and infrastructure and/or security standards. An understanding of the technical domain is critical to ensure the team is on the right path. As the technical PM and consultant, you may make technical and/or project recommendations on any course corrections necessary, helping address the issues, helping with mitigation strategies, and/or help the Business PM do forward and near term strategies and planning, looking for potential technical or other roadblocks and how to mitigate them, identify warning signs and identifying steps in place to mitigate, etc.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: * Manage project health; identify and mitigate project risk * Develop and execute project work plan according to project scope, deadlines, client needs and resource availability. * Accountable for design, development, delivery, and quality of all project deliverables * Oversee daily project team activities in tandem with the Program Manager including progress, and report any technical constraints/risks and issue resolution * Manage internal status meetings, gathering/understanding customer requests with the Business Program Mangers or internal teams. * Provide timely and effective status reporting into the PDSI (Platform Development and Systems Integration) PMO * Manage customer’s expectations with the Business PM and establishes the project team’s expectations by defining scope and role responsibilities. * May coach, train, and evaluate teams consisting of 4 to 15 people. (BA’s, Development, QA, Operations and other vendors/partner teams) * Understands the triple constraint of scope/schedule/cost and can drive the scope change process discussions with Business PM and client as needed * Ensure consistent and seamless project delivery with the client PM

REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred but not required. * PMP certification required. * Eight (8 ) or more years of project management experience. * Enterprise software project management experience. * Must be available to travel as needed * Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer * Must consent to, and successfully clear all required pre-employment screenings.
